Greetings Fans of Science, Reason, and Critical Thinking,
Did you see the video of the “UFO” in the last week or two? There has been a lot of chatter online about it. One of the most convincing arguments against it being a Space Sourced UFO/UAP is that any civilization capable of getting here from another star system or galaxy would certainly not be afraid of us and would allow themselves to be seen! Here’s another explanation… a Hellfire missile shot from a MQ-9 Reaper drone off screen towards an Unidentified Anomalous Object (UAP).
We humans are often easily fooled by things that we don’t understand or don’t have the full story about. Another one that you may actually watch a bit is ‘what your sign is’. Most papers have a horoscope published in their daily editions. You probably know what your “sign” is. You might be surprised to know that your sign is no longer your sign! Your Zodiac Sign Is 2,000 Years Out of Date
We seem to have a bunch of political leaders (I use the term “leaders” loosely) who are willing to push a lot of ideas that don’t really fit the definition of science and often deny it. Science Denial — Alice In Wonderland For The 21st Century and The U.S. is drifting away from science and climate reality. So why does life seem so normal? There was a time when hopes for the future seemed possible and not everything was sci-fi. Remember when computers were going to provide us with all of the information and knowledge at our fingertips? There wasn’t a lot of discussion about how they would be misused and become readily available tools for fooling people or outright deceit? We were so naive! AI ‘Slop’ Websites Are Publishing Climate Science Denial We all need to sharpen our critical and skeptical skills… Can We Trust Artificial Intelligence?
